About the event

Mental health treatment with a cultural relevant and Ethical approach Seminar

Cultural understanding plays a crucial role in the success and wellness of any therapeutic and professional setting. The purpose of this in-person and virtual continuing education seminar is to help mental health professionals, business professionals, and members of the community understand the influence of culture on mental health treatment and within the workplace environment.

During the seminar, participants will gain insight into different treatment philosophies based on cultures, cultural influences, and cultural bias. They will also learn about ethical considerations when working with diverse populations. This one-day seminar will be held at Oklahoma City's Metro Technology Center on Springlake Dr. hosted by Signature Transformation Counseling Service.

License Professional Counselors, License Social Workers, Case Managers, Peer Support and other Mental Health Professionals will be eligible to receive 8 Continuing Education Units (5 Cultural Diverse Population and  3 General Ethics ). An online option will also be made available.
